Change the default Windows XP fonts to match the Mac OS X Fonts.
You will need to install Mac Fonts, which you can download from here.

Download Now

To install these Fonts, go to the folder "Fonts", located in the WINDOWS folder. Once you are in the "Fonts" folder, click the File tab and select "Install new Font...", locate the fonts in this pack and install them.

In these steps, you are going to be able to make your Windows XP fonts to look like Mac OS X fonts.

Step 1: Right-Click on your desktop, select "Properties" and then "Apperance".

Step 2: You must have ClearType on, or else it wont look as good. Click on "Effects". and tick the box that says "Use the following method to smooth edges of screen fonts". Then in the drop down box below, select "ClearType".
Press OK, then Apply. And then next, select Advanced from the Apperance section.

Step 3: In the drop down box (it says Desktop), select Icon.

Step 4: In the drop down box, select any Mac OS X font and then select B for bold. Press OK and then Apply. And there you go!
Here are the fonts included in this package.

Recommended,
Use 'Lucida Grande' fonts for Icon and Menu.

Fonts
- AppleGaramond
- Aquabase
- Lithogrl
- Lucida Grande
- Lucon
- Lucida Mac
- MacGrand

    Hi,

Great post! thanks for this. But since its intended for Windows, the link provided in a tar.gz file is not really intuitive. Would be best if you can post the same files in rar or zip.
